For best results, read all instructions and hints carefully before beginning.



 
 
 

Preheat conventional oven to 350 ° .
Wipe down pans before use. Grease bottoms of pans with butter, margarine, or cooking spray and dust lightly with flour. Place individual pans onto baking sheet.

 
 

Be sure to wash hands. Cooking can be messy work. You might want to wear a smock or apron.

 



 


Combine brownie mix, 1 egg, 2 T oil, and 1T water in small bowl. Stir with spoon until well blended (about 50 strokes). Pour batter into pans filling each about ½ way to the top.

T = Tablespoon

 



 


Bake for 12-15 minutes. Boo Brownies are done when toothpick inserted into center of pan comes out clean.

 



 


While baking, design your Boo-licious Brownies on paper with crayons and markers.

 



 


Remove baking sheet from oven and allow brownies to cool completely. If you wish to remove brownies from pans: cut around edges, slide knife under base and lift gently from pan.

 




 


Knead frosting pouch before using. Carefully cut corner on frosting pouch to form small opening.

 
 


Spread frosting on brownies or draw Boo-licious details! Frosting will harden in 15 minutes and dry completely in 30 minutes.

 

 


Place bowl of water and paper towel next to work area.

 
 


When frosting has set, wet food brush and tap to remove excess water. Place tip of brush into part of edible watercolor and rub gently to activate color. Paint brownies spooky n' sweet. Rinse brush between colors.

HINTS:

It may be easier to decorate your brownies in the pans. Plus, you decorated treats make great gifts for the season!

For smooth, shiny surface, allow frosting to set and become firm (about 10 minutes in refrigerator).

Before switching colors, swirl food brush in water and tap on paper towel to remove color.

It may be tempting to save your sweets, but Boo-licious Brownies are best enjoyed the day you make them.

Edible watercolors are made with food safe color. Wash hands with water. Keep off of clothing.
