Preheat conventional oven to 350°.
Grease baking sheet with butter, margarine or cooking spray.

Place dough onto lightly floured surface and turn to coat both sides.
Make round cookies by dividing dough into small pieces. Roll each piece between palms, place cookies 2 inches apart and press onto greased baking sheet.
For shaped cookies, use hands, rolling pin or sturdy plastic cup to flatten dough like a pancake. Use cookie cutters or plastic knife to cut dough into fun shapes or make one GIANT cookie!
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
(Oversized cookies may require longer baking time.)
While you wait, practice designs on paper using Crayola crayons or markers.
Remove cookies from oven and cool on baking sheet 1 minute.
Move cookie creations to rack and cool completely.
In small bowl, mix dry icing with 1½ T warm water.
Stir with fork until smooth and set aside.
Place bowl of water and paper towel next to work area.
Spread icing on each cookie to create blank canvas.
Lock three color gels in appropriate positions on color wheel and remove lids.
Dip brush into one color gel and begin painting cookies.
