For best results, read all instructions and hints carefully before beginning.



 
 
  Preheat conventional oven to 350°.
Grease baking sheet with butter, margarine or cooking spray.

 
  Be sure to wash hands. Cooking can be messy work. You might want to wear a smock or apron.

 



 

Combine gingerbread cookie mix with 1/4 cup honey, 2 T butter or margarine, and 1 T + 1 teaspoon of water.
Mix with fork until combined. Dough will resemble crumbs. With your hands, form dough into a ball. cover and let rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Remove dough; place onto lightly floured surface and turn to cool both sides.

Roll out cookie dough use the included teddy bear cutter to make fun Ginger Bears or shape dough into anything you like!

 
 


Place Ginger Bear creations onto greased baking sheet.

 



 

Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden. Oversized cookies may require longer baking sheet 1 minute. Move Ginger Bears to rack and cool completely.

 



 


Remove cookies from oven and cool on baking sheet 1 minute. Move Ginger Bears to rack and cool completely.

 


 


Shake the decorating pens to evenly distribute icings. Cut tips from icing pens to form small openings.

 
 

Use the decorating pens to add character to your Ginger Bears! Apply fruity drops and candy eyes for a sweet surprise.
