For best results, read all instructions and hints carefully before beginning.



 
 
 


Be sure to wash hands. Cooking can be messy work. You might want to wear a smock or apron.

Place sealed marshmallow pouch into bowl of warm water until ready to use.
Pour Rice Krispies® into large bowl.

 



 


Coat medium saucepan and heat-proof stirring utensil with cooking spray.
Remove marshmallow pouch from water and dry.
Cut bottom from marshmallow pouch and squeeze entire contents into saucepan.
Warm on stovetop over LOW heat until marshmallow is consistency of milk. Do not boil.
Carefully pour over Rice Krispies®. Stir well to coat evenly. Mixture will be warm.
Let stand for 5 minutes to cool and make shaping easier.

 
 


Think about what to create. Draw some ideas on paper with crayons and markers.

 



 


Press 8 equal portions of Rice Krispies® mixture into heart cutter or create lovable shapes of your own! Think stacked hearts or 3D flower. Place treats on clean flat surface, waxed paper, or cookie sheet.

 



 


Shake the decorating pens to evenly distribute icings. Cut tips from icing pens to form small openings.

Hint: If using a non-stick pan, cooking spray may not be necessary.

Hint: To make shaping less sticky, coat hands and heart cutter with cooking spray.
